Selby Warren (c. 1888–1971) was an Australian bushman from Turkey Creek (Warmun) in Western Australia. Working largely on salvaged sheets of tin and wood, Warren recorded his life experiences decades before the emergence of the internationally recognized East Kimberley painting movement.
Although he painted outside established art institutions, his work is now held in major Australian collections and is recognized as among the earliest examples of contemporary Aboriginal painting.
